What’s Included in the Cost?

Simulated Cllient Session: One 20-minute Simulated Client session is included in the workshop price. If you require additional sessions in order to demonstrate proficiency, they are available for an additional fee.

MITI Coding: Your first MITI coding is included in the workshop price. If you require additional Codings in order to demonstrate proficiency, they are available for an additional fee.

Certificate of Participation: Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of participation (Note: This course does not qualify participants for MINT membership).
Application Process: How to Apply
Step 1: Application Submission & Fee
To apply, you will need to complete the application form below including details about your MI experience.
Step 2: Proficiency Demonstration
Once you have submitted your application and paid the application fee of $80, you can schedule a 20-minute recorded MI session with a Simulated Client (this will be reviewed by a trained MITI coder to determine proficiency in MI).
To demonstrate proficiency in MI, your recorded session must meet these criteria:

A combined score of 4 (on both Relational and Technical Components)

At least 50% of reflections must be Complex Reflections

A 2:1 ratio of Reflections to Questions
The MITI 4.2.1 Manual provides further detail on coding expectations.
