Julia Evans, AM, LCSW, CADC, received her Master’s in Social Work at The University of Chicago with a specialty in addiction counseling, and is the founder and owner of Soundview Therapy Group in Guilford, CT. She is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and has provided MI training in schools; hospital settings; managed care settings; workforce development organizations; and residential behavioral health organizations. Her professional interests include utilizing Motivational Interviewing (MI) throughout various settings in working with those who suffer with addiction, anxiety and depression.
